Offered here are MADE TO Order Plunge Pools / Fish ponds (Only the moulding. We can supply other fittings like, ladders, heaters, pump, filtration but we DO NOT OFFER installation etc) made in Fibreglass in a UK Factory that makes high performance work boats, so only the best materials are used ! These are designed to be SUNK IN THE GROUND as the sides need supporting, if mounted above ground discuss with us the support that is required.

These are made to order with a typical lead time of 2-4 weeks, Colour options are BLUE / GREEN / BLACK message us at order to confirm colour.

These Ponds & Pools are HEAVY, ranging 100 - 300 Kgs The vehicle that delivers them has no mechanical handling and we advise 6 persons are needed to unload the 12' and 14' ponds 4 persons for the smaller ones, our Driver will help but he is on his own !

Made to order in the UK these pond liners are manufactured from a heavy duty fibreglass lay up using Lloyds approves isophthalic resin and gel coats used in boat building construction. The base structure is made out of a preformed Nidaplast Board, joined and seamed as necessary. This material is normally used for the deck in commercial rigid hull inflatables and is IMMENSELY strong.

These are LARGE Ponds / pools with a choice of colours, Swimming Pool Blue, Green, Black. The Units are an oblong with no shelves and a constant depth / flat bottom. TO KEEP THINGS SIMPLE WE DO NOT SHOW THE COLOUR OPTIONS IN THE PRICING WE WILL CONTACT YOU AFTER ORDER TO ASK WHAT COLOUR YOU WANT, ALL COLOURS ARE THE SAME PRICE.

We can offer various free standing shelves and steps to be placed in the pool if you want access steps at one end or shelves for plants.

The pond is tapered so the base is approx 5 cm "smaller" than the top, it is at the top we are giving dimensions. In the images you can see how the hole in the ground is prepared and if used as a pool ADD INSULATION to the sides but not the base.

Fibreglass pond liners are far longer lasting than cheap preformed plastic or fabric liners and if you are building the pond in the last thing you want is a cheap liner to fail.

The dimensions will vary slightly as these are a hand made item so please do not make a hole that you can not change based on the approximate dimensions that are given here ! The lip on the top WILL have tooling marks on it from where it is released from the "mould" and the outside / top lip will have marks from transit and manufacture. We expect you will be covering the outside and top lip at installation.

Fibreglass pool / pond liners are incredibly strong but given there are 4.5 - 11 tonnes of water going in to the pond it is essential that the base of the unit sits on solid ground with at least 6" of WELL PACKED DOWN sand at the base. The sides need to be packed externally against the earth with sand and that watered down to make sure the unit is fully supported. You MUST NOT let the the top edge "suspend" the pond base off of the well packed down sand in the bottom of the hole, the Base has to take the load and the sides have to be supported as well.

Make sure there are NO STONES or other sharp objects that will press against the outside of the pond. You normally use a tough membrane on the base and the sides to stop stones working their way through. Remember there is 4.5 - 11 tonnes of water in this unit when full and that is a lot of force downwards and outwards ! There are lots of tutorials on line about installing these units, MAKE SURE you watch them !

In the Photos is a picture showing the areas that the £199 Carriage applies to, if you are outside of these areas the extra cost of carriage is shown, we will ask for this extra carriage delivery cost once you have ordered and paid for the pond / pool.
